Hey all of you with Serious Sam HD! Let's team up for co-op!

GSZX1337 and I have decided that we'll be cooperating on The First Encounter at 8:00 PM CST (9:00 PM EST, 6:00 PM PST, 2:00 AM GMT) tonight! So anyone up for a few matches should add both of us so you can join in!

Just a quick heads-up: Serious Sam HD can support 16 players in Co-Op, so there should be plenty of room!

Hmmm, is there a free HD patch for folks who own the original game discs by chance?

I always thought SS looked great when I played it in college. Is the HD much of an upgrade?

Unfortunately no, there is no patch. The Serious Sam HD games are different games entirely. You can get Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter for $7.50 on Steam right now.



As for if it's a worthwhile upgrade: It looks nicer, it's on par with Serious Sam 2. That's about it.

No, they're remakes of the original games, I was just meaning that they were separate items. (You can get the originals on Steam as well.)

I have started the game. The settings are on default (infinite amount of lives) and the map is Hatshepsut (the first one).
