Sealed NES games
Sealed NES games
Has anyone ever bought a sealed NES games (recently not in the 80s 90s) to play on their NES? I bought Vice Project Doom brand new for $30 and opened it up to play (20 years later
). I've never played this game and it's becoming one of my fav NES games. It was quite an experience cracking that factory seal and seeing the crispness of the contents!

Re: Sealed NES games
I've bought a few, but I wouldn't open them. Vice can be found for a few bucks at most, so why ruin a sealed copy?
In any case, as was stated in the low budget net movie "Game Boys", Vice Project Doom is "the only Ninja Gaiden clone that's actually better than Ninja Gaiden."
I completely agree with this. Had it not been released so late into the NES's life, the game would be remembered much more fondly than it is.
Rest assured, it's on my cue for an in-depth review.
By the way if you want to check out the movie I mentioned, it's here:

Re: Sealed NES games
i personally havnt... if i buy a sealed game (if i can find it for real cheap) i like to hold on to it for a while and then sell it an buy an opened copy of the game, cause there are plenty of collectors out there who are willing to pay big for the sealed games
Re: Sealed NES games
I opened up some sealed game gear games last year. It was so rad. Opening games makes me feel like a kid on christmas day. Maybe not the same enthusiasm as the 64 kid but you know it gives me goosebumps. I would really have to want to play a game to open it up. I found James Bond the Duel sealed. Tried it out in Kega and didn't like it sold it on amazon.

I know what you mean! It's definitely awesome being able to do that. I haven't bought any sealed old-school games for a long while, but it would definitely depend on a lot of things if I were gonna open it or not.Rayban wrote:It was quite an experience cracking that factory seal and seeing the crispness of the contents!
