Ketsui has been emulated in a special build of MAME

hi RB shmups scene , i am just reporting that Ketsui has been emulated in a special build of MAME. I have tried it and played it about 4 times already , this is how i did it.

1. Download MAME Update ROMs 0.140u2 , which contains ket.zip
2. Obtain pgm.zip rom
3. Open up pgm.zip and extract all of the files into ket.zip
4. Download MAMEUI32 0.140u2 Patched for Ketsui and DoDonPachi Dai-Ou-Jou support

Holy crapsies! Doing this the second I get home. Is this the same game as on DS?

No, Ketsui: Death Label on the DS is just a boss rush (still awesome though) - this is the full version of Ketsui.

Is this causing drama in MAME world? I thought MAME dev said Cave put the kibosh on Ketsui.

i think that was till the XBOX360 version came out

nowhere near it - that's just the boss rush! this is the real deal.

i've played through ketsui and DDP DOJ (and black label version) several times, and they play really well. some audio bugs, a couple random weird occurences, but i'm beyond impressed with the stability for the most part.

the prior build had all of the enemies and stuff scrolling backwards. it was incredible. have some footage of that:
