~Some Video Game-related Doodles o' Mine...
Just thought I'd share...I am by no means a good artist, I just sketch and I'm HORRIBLE at coloring! None of my drawings are traces either by the way. Just some characters are way easier to draw than others.

- Wario obviously..People are sure that I traced this, but I honestly didn't, just looked at the subject from start to finish

- Regretful Samus without the suit..made a mistake on the lines of Samus' helmet, didn't realize until I already penned it...boooo!

I'm totally stealing the concept of Samus embracing her helmet. Thanks for inspiring me. Might take awhile, but i'll post it... wish i'd not deleted my DeviantArt page.
Beyond the usual "good work, keep it up!" advice, theres nothing wrong with tracing for practice, as long as you give credit where due. I'm a lapsed artist and can tell you straight up, keep drawing, every line you draw is a lesson learned.

Did you trace those lines that are in all the pictures? They're really really straight.

Nah I wish I had that straight of a hand! It's just the lines of the paper I used. I don't have fancy drawing paper, I'm cheap and just use my journal paper.Jrecee wrote:Did you trace those lines that are in all the pictures? They're really really straight.
