100 Super Famicom games in 10 minutes video PART 2 COMPLETE!

Post by greg »

I've uploaded this video back to Youtube. The video is of SFC games that were never released in North America. The guy who originally made this video also made a couple other of these videos. One was more of a version 1.5 because he was confused about which games had been released in which regions. The third was more of an 80 SFC games in 8 minutes type of video. Well unforunately, he managed to get banned on Youtube for whatever reason, and I lost contact with the guy. I had been discussing with him about sending him footage of several other SFC games to build another SFC games video. Now that he's gone, my friend and I found his first video that was uploaded to some Spanish language Web video site. I snagged it and re-uploaded it to Youtube. People need to see this video!

So some games like Terranigma and Twinbee were released for the Super Nintendo in the UK, and the very first Sailor Moon game was released in France. And naturally, many of these games were subsequently re-released on other platforms later on, such as the PS1, PSP, and the DS. So, with the idea of making a video featuring SFC games that were never released for the North American SNES, my friend and I want to make a second one of these videos. Here are the games in the first video, listed alphabetically:

So, here is a list of what we've put together for a second video. Now all I have to do is get my VCR out and start recording these onto a tape and figure out my video capture card. Between the two of us, we have quite a chunk of these games already. For the rest, I can load the roms up on my hacked xbox for more footage. I've been doing a bit of research on some of these. That's another 100. So what do you think? Can we all milk out another 100 for a third video? I want to focus on real great games that people would be interested in and not add total fluff to the list like endless sports games or too many mahjong or pachinko simulator games. Any inputs? Again, the intent is to display SFC games that were never released in North America. I understand The Firemen was released in Europe and that Final Fantasy 5 has subsequently been released on other consoles later on. Just focusing on the Super Nintendo system. Maybe for a third video we could delve into Sufami Turbo games, but I only own three of them myself and I'd have to figure out emulation for the rest. I'd like to gather game suggestions, please.

Add in Super Bomberman 4 - it was Japan only aswell as 5 (already listed).

I appreciate that you are giving some love to Battle Cross, it is one of my favorite unknown SNES/SFC games.

No way... I even own Super Bomberman 4 for the SFC. I thought that it was released domestically. Well, that's one for the third video. Only 99 more to go! Thanks for the input.

Actually, I just realized that SaGa Fronteir was released for the PSX. Romancing SaGa 1-3 were for the SFC. Romancing SaGa 3 was listed in the first video. Maybe I can squeeze Super Bomberman 4 into the video I'm making.
