What's the deal?

I seem to see people complaining about Sony or MS all the time.. And I'm wondering why people are so quick to rip these corporations apart... They have their faults but overall are clones of one another and I do get that this generation is probably not popular amongst retro gamers due to the influx of online FPS games.. I'm just curious to know why many threads are Sony this or MS that? Are the new consoles the enemy?

It's funny that we've accepted that some people like Sega some people like Nintendo but most of us like both, yet can't stop fighting over the only gen that isn't currently part of retro gaming

For the most part I think all 3 consoles bring great things to the table..
