i remember seeing a patch for super mario advance 2 on here a long time ago that changed all the colors back to their normal colors instead of them being all faded and shit so they'd look decent on the original gba's screen.
anyone have a link? also i'd need a program to apply the patch with i'm not really up on that either.
thanks

if yr going to play it as a ROM on a flashcart, then why not just emulate the SNES version at that point?ac_90 wrote:here never mind i found it.

i guess you could...i'm assuming it would play worse considering the screen size and button layout but i've never tried it personally. i just thought it was neat its just a little fix to the original gba game

Another reason would be if someone wanted to play the extra GBA exclusive content on a TV via the Gamecube's GameBoy Player accessory, and not have the color all washed out.noiseredux wrote:if yr going to play it as a ROM on a flashcart, then why not just emulate the SNES version at that point?

yeah I'm trying to think of what's actually included as extra content on the GBA version though. Voice samples and the inclusion of original Mario Bros is all I can think of though. I don't know. I love my copy of SMA2, I'm just not sure the point of this patch I guess.flamepanther wrote:Another reason would be if someone wanted to play the extra GBA exclusive content on a TV via the Gamecube's GameBoy Player accessory, and not have the color all washed out.noiseredux wrote:if yr going to play it as a ROM on a flashcart, then why not just emulate the SNES version at that point?
