What's the best trade you ever made?

Post by CAv »

I'm not talking about trades of varying monetary value, but rather of varying quality. Have you ever traded in a really crappy game for a really good one?
Just the other day, I traded in my copy of Metroid: Other M for a copy of Brutal Legend, and it was a great decision! Other M just disappointed my in pretty much every way possible, so I finally broke my rule about never getting rid of a game and traded it in. Brutal legend is so much better! Long live Tim Schaffer!

I traded an pc arcade game compilation for a PS3 hori stick and a PS3 street fighter fighting pad. Ridiculously good trade but I think the guy was just really nice. I kinda felt guilty.

River City Ransom for Earthbound back a long time ago. Initially I thought I got the short end of the deal, but when I finally played through all of Earthbound, well yeah that game is awesome.

I traded a 6 year old Karcher gas pressure washer (in very good condition) for a DSi XL, 7 games, 2GB SD card, 8GB SDHC card, and R4i SDHC. I think it was win-win for both of us.
