I just picked up a Sega Menacer with the Menacer 6 in 1 cart. I've been want to get this to play Corpse Killer with, I know, but I'm a sucker for horrible zombie movies. On the Menacer 6 in 1 cart it works decently well, but on Corpse Killer, its terrible. I go into the options screen to calibrate it, expecting something similar to the super scope. All the screen does is keeps moving the target around, I'm not sure if that's moving to different areas of the screen to calibrate, or if thats where my shots are firing, the game never addresses it, and neither does the manual.
So I go into playing the game, and the shots are nowhere near the zombies. The game is literally unplayable. I looked up some reviews of the Menacer and Corpse Killer, reading that people said the game was decent with it. It does get better if I turn the brightness up to 100, but then the FMV looks even worse than it did before! I've played it on both a burned iso I downloaded from the internet, and a legit copy of the game, no difference.
The only other thing to mention of interest is that the game's music skips during the gameplay no matter what copy I use. I found it odd that it did with both a burned copy as well as the original. Its the CD 32X, although Night Trap CD 32X doesn't experience the same problem.
Sega Menacer absolutely sucks, is it this paticular gun?
