I've decided to post a free PC or Flash game for every day leading to Christmas, like those advent calendars where you get a chocolate for every day of December.

It's December 1st as I type and I'm starting this off with a wonderfully ridiculous little game called Octodad.



You are an octopus trying to blend in to a suburban lifestyle amidst the humans. Don't act too weird or you will raise suspicions and your family members or friends might discover your secret!

Downloaded this, and I'm havign real issues trying to get up the stairs in the very first room of the game. Am I just being stupid?

This time it's Casebook: Episode 0- The Missing Urn



The Casebook Trilogy is a series of FMV adventure games about detective work. They use some interesting technology that lets you walk around in pictures, so the graphics keep their photorealistic look even when you're not in a cut scene. Episode 0 is meant to be kind of silly in the quest you are on, but it does introduce you to the style and gameplay of the series.

Noise's comment really reminds me of an advertisement with an open fire in a living room, a bit out of focus in the background and a lady in the front.
Most people didn't notice the fire at first!
