Alright, sorry if this is vague, but it's all I can remember from it.
I watched this when I was in the first or second grade, but never really understood it.
Pretty sure its a 1990s-2003 show, something close to that.
It was a story show, showing short stories every episode. A friend said it played on MTV, and it had to do with supernatural stuff.
One story was when a baker had to bake a cake for a couple or something, and they kept getting into arguments. Baker finds a face in a flame or something, and when the groom comes back, the baker's body is cooking in the oven.
Another story was when a boy got bitten by a snake in the woods. A man in a wheelchair comes out of nowhere and gives the boy an instrument to suck out the venom. After the boy gets professional aid, he tells them about the man, but either no one knows who he's talking about or they said the man's been dead.
One story had to do with a barn. A boy was helping the old man farmer with farmwork, and the farmer kept a wood chipper in one of the barnhouses. Something happens when the boy startles the farmer and the farmer's hands fall into the woodchipper.
Last example I'll give. A boy is playing at a park, when he finds a wallet. He takes the wallet back to its owner. This is the part I didn't understand. They ask for his name, and he doesn't give them an answer, at least thats how i remember it. They keep asking and asking, and he just runs away. My guess was this implied the kid didn't really exist or something.
So guys, if you could, help me out. This show seemed really creepy and interesting as a kid, and me and my friend don't know how to research it since we don't know where to start. A show having to do with supernatural stories, please help.

Sounds like Tales from the Crypt.
And I believe there was an animated version too.

"Are You Afraid of the Dark," "Goosebumps," and "Tales from the Crypt" (the animated series) all come to mind...but it's unlikely to be any of those because all of them were watered-down and kid-friendly. The synopses you gave, on the other hand, are downright morbid.
I'm really curious about what show this could possibly be.
Was it a cartoon or live action series?

It was a live action series. It definitely wasn't a kid show, because I'd watch it when my big siblings would bring a few friends over. They'd always shut off all the lights, and I remember being creeped out by it.
I've always thought it was an interesting show, but my memory didn't peak until Halloween, when I wanted to watch something creepy.
And the hunt still goes on.

That's quite a window! Can you be more specific?Veno wrote: Pretty sure its a 1990s-2003 show, something close to that.
Also, shows from then are not yet old!

Sounds like something David Lynch would have written.Veno wrote: One story was when a baker had to bake a cake for a couple or something, and they kept getting into arguments. Baker finds a face in a flame or something, and when the groom comes back, the baker's body is cooking in the oven.

Tales from the darkside maybe? Or amazing stories?
I just want to separate the cereal from the mouse mask.

Beyond Belief is definitely it. I've seen a couple of episodes myself when it was still in production, and it managed to be both cheesy and highly entertaining.tommyboy8689 wrote:you are speaking of beyond belief: fact or fiction... i have tons of those on my dvr... sci-fi channel usually has some reruns... awesome show! i remember watching it when it first came out

Here's an episode list: http://www.tv.com/beyond-belief-fact-or ... season=All
Now CTRL + F for the word "baker." There's an episode synopsis that nearly perfectly matches your synopsis with the baker ending up in the oven.
