Green goblin good for fighters?

I have a DC Stick that I have been learning for shmups, this guy considered any good for fighters as well?

It depends which one. the Official Sega one is still one of the best arcade sticks ever released.

I have a couple of used official sticks, and the buttons don't seem very good to me. My button presses are not registering sometimes during fights. I've never played with a brand new one, so maybe it was better when it was new. The stick seems decent, not great, but works better than the buttons. I really like the button layout, the distance between the stick and the buttons, and the casing size is good: not too large, not too small. I plan to replace everything with Sanwa parts, then it will be awesome.
