A very unhelpful tread. I did decide on the LED LCD 46'' 1080p Toshiba. Totally great tv. Got a great price on it too!

My CRT vs LCD signature link may help. A question of which consoles being played.

can some on just give me a short answer I have no more that £500 to spend what make and brand would be best to run consoles. All my hook ups are all scart or tv leads not to botherd about light gun but would be nice if posibale.does not have to be big screen although I would like flat screen,or my be I should go monitor rute as I wont be watching tv on it just playing games.

sorry to be a pain but I realy have not got a clue.

You do have a mix of consoles, some looking better on CRT and newer consoles on LCD or Plasma. Though now getting hard to find, get a HD that has a SVideo input for the older consoles and HDMI for the new consoles.
