I'm really just getting into fighters now and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the Tekken 6 fight stick bundle.
I'll really just be playing casually, so no tournament play or anything. Just looking for impressions from other users.
I'll be getting it for the xbox 360 if the quality differs much between systems for any reason.

It sucks ass, don't let the fact is says HORI on it fool you. I was interested in getting one.
Cheap plastic feeling buttons / stick, light (and I mean LIGHT!) weight, it feels completely and utterly cheap. They are also fairly hard to mod.
Do't be fooled into thinking this comes close to a Mad Catz Stick, I couldn't recommend more that you avoid this cheap 'toy'.

It's really that bad? Wow.
Are there any cheaper fight sticks you would recommend for the 360? I was thinking of this because it was $60 for the game and the stick. I guess you get what you pay for.
Thought it would be at least decent for a beginner.

If you want a stick on the cheap by all means, go get it. But I honestly think it is a shit stick, I can imagine the stick itself becoming very loose, very fast. As I mentioned there a pain to mod.
If you want it for fighters, it's a piece of shit. If you want to for a few random arcade games, then it should do you fine.

I guess I better pass on this then as I was planning on using it mainly for fighters.
However I now see that the Street Fighter IV stick normal edition is $50 now...or $80. Alright EB Games...
I assume this is a far better stick, I've heard great things. What would you say on it?

EDIT: Wait I'm now confused. Is this page talking about the pad on the lower half or the stick on the upper half? I better look elsewhere for prices. It's the same price on Amazon, but the Canadian one doesn't have it and the American one won't ship it to Canada.
Guess I gotta look around further.

Yeah, I got the Tekken 6 stick just because Amazon was selling the T6 bundle in one of their lightning deals for around $20.
I used it maybe once or twice before forgetting about it forever. Nothing about it felt satisfying. Even basic movements were hard to pull off as the stick just felt sloppily put together. Save your money, or get it as a novelty at best.

Thanks for all the input. I'll just get the Street Fighter IV stick and the game separately.the7k wrote:Yeah, I got the Tekken 6 stick just because Amazon was selling the T6 bundle in one of their lightning deals for around $20.
