Welcome to the boards, by the way, I don't think I've seen you around.

Yea, unless you happen to of read any of my 8 posts =P
I've been reading the guides and stuff here for a year or so, just recently decided to post.

Bingo!
We have a pretty good mix here; teenagers to 30-somethings (any 40+ here?), blue collar workers to office folk, people from North America and people from South Africa, and everything in between. This site isn't so technical that it's going to scare people off, but there are enough people with tech knowhow here to help you mod your Genesis for SCART and region-free if you need it.
Also, since this is a retro site, there isn't much in the way of hardcore fanboyism. We pretty much love all video game consoles whether it's the Turbografx-16 or the Dreamcast. Sure, I have my preference for PC Engines and Sega Saturn, but I'm not going to knock anyone who prefers the Super Nintendo and X-Box 360.
Enjoy yourself!
-Can you name all the consoles in my signature without cheating?

I'm 21 myself (well I will be in one hour, lol) but recently I met this kid.... prolly 10 years old. I swear I wanted to adopt him. The youngest kid I ever met, who was into retro/old-school games. He kept going on about how older games are better then new ones and how he wished he was born 10 years earlier, lol.
And yes Saturn and TG16 are awesome

. My friend (lucky bastard) just bought a turbo duo, in the box, for $300, at our local retro game store. But I couldn't complain.... I had a grey JP saturn coming in the mail ^_^.
PS: Yes I can name all the consoles in your sig w/o cheating! 8D.... unfortunately if you showed me a vagina, I couldn't show you where the G-Spot is located. XD XD XD
