Wow. That's pretty huge. Coincidentally, his design for the female character of Mega Man Legends 3 got last place, but despite the easy ragequit jokes I doubt it was that.

Whoa, megaton. I guess his hate for Capcom finally got to him.

Here's hoping he either stays or comes back to the industry one day.

RAGEQUIT! Had to do it. :D

Actually, Inafune is in third to last place. Kazushi Itou was last with 4%. Keiji Inafune and Hideki Ishikawa are tied with 5%. I voted for Inafune's design so I'm a bit disappointed with the results..

I'm hoping Capcom plays ball and tries to keep him. A public announcement like this can do wonders for a company seeking to retain so publicly admired a figure as Keiji.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Wow, he should have gotten 4th place at the least. Some of those designs just look bad to me. In fact, I think he should have gotten first or second.

I guess some people don't like big hair?

Huge loss for Capcom, but there is one positive... Atleast the Street Fighter franchise won't be ruined like it was in 4, or maybe I'm giving the company too much credit..
