Some good PCEngine HuCards?
Some good PCEngine HuCards?
I have a bunch of HuCards, but I want to expand the collection. Anyone know of some good obscure ones? Like some weird Japanese platformers or something? I'm interested in hearing about anything noteworthy really, what are some of your favourites that go under the radar?

Well, none of these are very obscure and I have more than half of them... it is a good guide though, I've seen it before.CRTGAMER wrote:These may help, from the Blue Bar links at the top.

edit: This guide was just what I was looking for: http://www.racketboy.com/retro/turbogra ... games.html, I didn't see it before since it's not listed under PC Engine section. Some great ones on here!

Here are couple I didn't see on the lists(quick scan) that I really like.
Shockman: Plays kind of like Megaman. Great game
Dragons Curse: Sort of like Zelda II its a re skinning of one of the Wonderboy games.
Bloody Wolf: I really think this game is a fantastic must own.
Cadash: Certainly way better if you have a friend to play it with. Pretty lengthy and best version of the game IMO
Valis Series: I know you only wanted Hucard but if you have a CD attachment it is a pretty fun platforming series.
I actually have quite a few PcEngine games so if you want to chat about some let me know.

All you'll ever need to know, well mostly, they do skip a lot of the rpgs and text heavy games.

I played these games on the Genesis and liked them. Apparently, the PC-Engine versions are better.chuckbanzai wrote: Valis Series: I know you only wanted Hucard but if you have a CD attachment it is a pretty fun platforming series.
