I gotta go with Diddy Kong or Mario Kart on the SNES

I didn't care for Mario Kart on 64 and didn't play it on GC

F-Zero GX, no doubt.

I would like to give the Burnout series a try.

I've also liked Super RC Pro AM (yes, I've played more of the GB version than the original), Super Off-Road, & Re-volt

In Japan I liked to play SCUD Race, by Sega. My friends and I found a machine that only cost 50 yen. SCUD is pretty traditional in terms of Sega arcade racing mechanics, but if you do the Easy, oval track you are racing against toys even though you drive a normal car. And sometimes a HUGE cat will chase a rat across the track.

Depends on a couple variables for me. Namely if I am playing by myself or with others and if we want it cars or a mix. But the two most played are easily Mario Kart 64 and Rush 2049 trick attack. Though a good bit of RC ProAm 2 and Rock and Roll Racing has been played recently.

If I am by myself, well 1000 Mile Rally usually gets my play time. I saw a cab of it go for sub $100 last year, if it is at the next auction, fairly likely, odds are Ill be getting it. Im limiting myself to two cabs normal sized cabs, thats it.

That's a seriously hard question to answer. For multiplayer, Micro Machines on NES or Genesis, either one, is tied with Sega Rally 2 on Dreamcast. Single player it's Sega Rally on Saturn or Mario Kart DS.

Wipeout - Superb music and art direction. Fast and furious racing. PSP version is so deep and packed with features its worth buying the system for. Wipeout 3 for PSX is worth it just for the excellent trance/house tracks. Just play it right in your CD player.

Ridge Racer - Some great tracks, fun cars, and the best spokesmodels. Namco has a real love for the series and it shows. R4 for PSX and the PSP version are absolutely fantastic.

Extreme G - I REALLY enjoyed these on the N64, but I don't know if they still hold up....
