Best. Crossover. EVER.

Post by lisalover1 »

You think the best ideas for crossovers have already been done, huh? Marvel vs. Capcom? Square Enix and Disney? Chocolate and Peanut Butter? Bah; amateurs. This one blows em' all out of the water. Quite possibly the best two franchises on the Nintendo DS [or at least the best prolific ones] are coming together in a crossover game: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Professor Layton! They're personally my top 2 favorite franchises not just on the DS, but of this generation altogether. Sorry, I can't type much more right now; I feel the need to do my happy dance. :D

This is so incredibly weird, yet awesome too.

I do wonder how the gameplay will cross over though. Should be interesting to see.

I almost don't want to post because of the absurdly positive reaction everywhere .. but .. really? This excites people? Phoenix Wright is great, but to meld it with Layton of all characters, no, that's not exciting at all. Layton can die in a fire. He's so boring and ill-fitting to the world of Phoenix Wright that I find it hard to even conceive of how this came about in the first place. Next thing you know we're going to get more of these been around for 100 years, done to death "puzzles" in order to solve a case or something. Barf.
