I had no idea until I came across it search for videos on the Sega Saturn game.
I have to tell you I am impressed with this game. The Graphics are amazing for a N64 game and it looks like alot of fun to play even if you don't know japanese and are familiar with the anime.
Does anyone have a copy of this or have played it? I'd like more information. Possibly considering importing an N64 from japan due to the ROM conversion of the game not being very good.
The first dude to upload it used to have a bunk geocities type website that explained a lot about the game. I couldn't beat the angel that drops from space, you have to tap the button's really fast and with a keyboard it's nearly impossible. I think it's a great game, if it isn't too expensive to import you should pick one up. Playing N64 games on a comp sucks without a real N64 controller but if you do just play the rom, let me know if you can beat that angel using the keyboard.

Or you could just change the back panel of the N64 cart with one of your current region. But I like the region mod idea best if you're going to import a lot of games.

That game does look pretty awesome.
Yeah, this is one of the few N64 games I kept from Japan, even though I sold my console. It's probably the best Eva game to date, in that you're actually doing stuff from the series. That's basically what it is--a run-through of the action segments of the series, where each angel encounter is a different mini-game. I think they reuse a couple of them though. The visual presentation is really excellent for an N64 game, too.
I would love a copy of this to try out. I have a spare N64 that I could mod, so it's not a big deal in that sense. I just wish I could find a copy for less than $30.
If someone has a working copy in good condition, PM me to trade
