Sega Outrun Online Arcade TERMINATED

Post by d123456 »

http://kotaku.com/5662675/an-outrun-gam ... terminated
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I want to share my account with someone who has this
I have GTI Club, Afterburner, Final Fight Double Impact, MKII and SF 2X Turbo HD.
5 bought games!
Can we make a deal?
Should I just make a new seperate account to share?
Wll this work?
I will first send you my Credentials and if that works out ok, then You will send me yours?
Is that ok?
Maybe not? Anyone tried?
If it has been pulled from download server or just pulled as a buyable thing?
Or Can I somehow still buy it? Jp PSN?
I´m sorry I never got it, but I have the ps2 version which runs in 480p.
But now that it´s gone I feel ..... empty.... I want to witness the revamped graphics.
You never know what you´re missing until it´s gone :?

What the F#$%!

Glad I just bought it a few weeks ago. I am not sharing, sorry. Sony only allows PSN downloads to go on 5 machines. I'm not using mine up.

This is why downloadable-only content in f#$%ing bullshit.

Yes, pirating downloadable games IS okay, and THIS is why.

OK, no problem, it´s not like I have a lot to offer anyway.
That and I agree on every point.
I just had a thought, A brilliant thought!
People could in theory even sell their downloadable games on ebay!
The winner just gets the credentials!
Would that be legal even?
Has it been done?

Not legal and not possible. To give away games, you need to give that person access to your PSN account that has ALL your games on it and possibly other information. Also, you are only allowed to download the same PSN game on 5 different PS3 consoles. If you give this stuff away (or sell it, whatever), what is stopping that stranger from passing your info onto their friends? If your PS3 needs replacing, you are screwed for the PSN games that you bought. It would be incredibly stupid to attempt it. Not really a brilliant idea.

hm. if it has been pulled from the store, if you already bought it, you could possibly redownload it by checking your history page. I'll look it up later when I turn my PS3 on.

Wow, wat to screw up Sega. I'm glad I have it for oxbox already, but I might grab it for 360 anyways while I still can.

A precedence, will Sony continue to support those who have to re download an older purchase?

Is this game basically an HD outrun 2, or is it completely different?

I see! Thanks for pointing that out. Although obvious I had not thought about that!
Would it be possible to make an account and then delete the account you would have shared it? I mean there most be some way in which the risk is reduced or something, right?

When I get home tonight I will check and also check the other country stores! :D
Good pro tip!

I wanted to get this for a while, but because I heard it features less than the ps2 version and the bugs I never got around to it.
