24 Hour Gaming Marathon Selections?

Post by DaGamingMonkey »

This Saturday I'm participating in the Extralife 24 hours gameathon.
I actually have few auctions to raise money for it

There are 2 other friends who are going to be doing the whole 24 hours with me and other friends stopping by throughout the day. Mostly Saturday night.
We already have a few board games on the list since it's just gaming doesn't have to be video games. (Monopoly, Risk, Scrabble)

We just need a good idea of video games. I'm going to have 2 tvs set up. I'm thinking action games where we have to play each other. Fighting games I'm sure, sports. So we can keep the competition going and stay awake.

A few that we have agreed on so far
NHL 11
MVC2
Scott Pilgrim vs World
Castle Crashers
The New NBA jam

If you have any suggestions give me a heads up.

My backlogg is in my sig to show what I have available.

This is going to be a blast and I'm thinking a challenge. I can't remember the last time I literally played video games all day let alone 24 hours.

Got a list of available games or systems?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I would not be able to do that. For me games are all about taking your mind off the hundreds of worries and stresses the real world puts on you. So a 20-30 minute blast of anygame is enough. If i ever surpass an hour i start to go off the game. Except with friends i can push two-three hours.

Good luck on 24hours, prehaps party style games such as Crash Bash, Mario Party ect to keep the laughter and conversation up.

Dont eat any fatty foods either, as the digestion of the fat will make you really tired. Stick to carbs and protiens so say...pasta and sandwhichs, and a lot of sugary drinks.

I'm doing the extra life marathon as well. (My searches missed your thread when I made my own)

I'm doing it mostly by my self, but I have a friend thats hopefully joining in for a few hours if he has time.

I'm just going to try and play some of my backlog during the marathon. Top of my list is the FMV X-Files game.

You should dedicate at least an hour to Justice League Task Force.

Good call. I just picked up that game so haven't had a chance to try it out.
