Why would they release a sequel to one of the worst NES games ever?

Even ignoring the Pachislot games there have been more than 20 FoTNS games released over the years. Most didn't make it here. I've never tried one that wasn't terrible myself, but Last Battle on Genesis was a censored and edited FoTNS game here in the US.

Actually, the PS2 fighting game is supposed to be quite good.

Also, have any of you guys ever watched the anime? If so, you'd realize exactly how awesome this could actually be.

But you can not. For you are already dead.

I enjoyed the movie. It was fun in a so bad it's good way. I still have the tape somewhere. I heard the TV series was just plain terrible though. I'm not sure if I want to attempt the live action movie, that just looks bad bad too. Plus they'd have to spend 90% of the budget on fake blood to even come close to the animated movie.

Ive played the genesis version and it is pretty good for its time.

My friend has the PS2 fighting game and he says its great.

Ill be buying this for sure.

Must support Kung Fu Jesus.

I own the first region one dvd set of the tv series, its a great set from Discotek and is pretty reasonably priced. The second set is supposed to come out this year with another 36 eps.

They also released a dvd of the movie, though i haven't been able to pick it up yet. I have an old hk bootleg of it which is actually a rip of the older laserdisc release.

Wish the game was going to have online coop, but looks like local only.

As for the live action movie with Costas Mandalor and Gary Daniels, its awful. Almost no blood and the fighting is pretty lackluster, even by Gary Daniels standards

Ah man, no, the live action film is hilariously awesome in a so-bad-it's-good way. They don't have everybody explode in the same way, though the weird body-breaking effects implemented are actually pretty entertaining.

Plus it's got Melvin Van Peebles and Chris Penn in it, along with Clint Howard and Malcolm McDowell. It's like a B-movie extravaganza!

Going to have to agree to disagree on that one. I love me some b grade shlock, but couldnt stand that one.

The game has been out in japan for quite a while already. I was going to import the european version but wont have to now.

And yeah its like a dynasty warriors game its called Hokuto Muso in Japan and I believe that is the name of those kinds of games in japan.

After DW6 I'm not keen on Musou games but might give this a try, and I'm not a fan of the anime either.
