This won't last long.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Granted I haven't seen it since I was a kid, but I think it will be hard to fit someone in the role as well as Lynda Carter did. Maybe I'm just blanking but I can't think of anyone that would fit offhand.

I don't know if Lynda Carter's take on her would work for modern audiences. If we were going for a Wonder Woman who is close to the comic books or any of the animated shows or movies we've seen in recent years, I think I'd go with Amy Acker. Her work as the character Illyria on Angel is why I'd pick her

But if this show is doing something less comic bookey, then I could see maybe Tricia Helfer or Katee Sachoff working if they dyed their hair black. If we went with a black Wonder Woman, I'd say Gina Torres, easily

Minka Kelly is in the lead as far as casting goes.

I'm going to use this topic to ask people what they think of Zack Snyder directing the new superman movie.

I think he's a capable director, but I hope Nolan being involved means it won't be filled with his typical CG everything and add slow motion approach. I just don't see that working for Superman (it really didn't even make much sense in Watchmen). Sucker Punch looks like it was made by a bunch of game designers.

I wouldn't go there just quite yet.

The question is "Is Zod the right villain for the movie?".

I can only imagine that this means that the new Superman movie will be faithful-down-to-the-panel adaptation of a pre-existing story arc.

Personally, I liked Bryan Singer's take on Superman. However, if Nolan is involved then it certainly has my interest

Nolan has other contractual obligations that will keep him from directing the next Superman.

It's going to be:

Matt Reeves ("Cloverfield," "Let Me In"),
or
Jonathan Liebesman ("Battle: Los Angeles," "Darkness Falls")
or
Duncan Jones ("Moon")

Tony Scott is also in the mix, but I doubt he'll get it.
