how much is shadow of the colossus gh worth sealed.

came across two sealed greatest hits copies. Are they worth anything... Should i grab them?

Sealed non-gh copies are on ebay for $20, and there are a lot of them. I would pass only unless you want to hold on to them for a while. I picked up a copy like these a while ago for a gift to a friend who had never played it.

Unless it is Silent Hill 2 Greatest Hits, the GH games are almost always worth less.
Edit: Keep a look out for black label copies, though.

well obviously I know that black labels are worth more than GH's. But I just guess I thought that Shadow was slightly more sought after (in either edition) than it is. Why do you mention Silent Hill 2 GH? Is that one worth something for some reason?

The GH version for PS2 contains the added content (Born From a Wish Scenario/Endings/etc.) that was put on the Xbox version. It makes it slightly more desirable than the black label.

If the digital release of FF7 on PSN dropped its price, you can be sure that a proper retail release of 2 gems with better visuals and trophies will hurt the price a lot.

I can't understand why people buy games just to have sit on their shelves. I'd rather buy games and use them for their intended purpose, to play them. Is it really worth having a collection of games if you can't use them? How much do people think these games will appreciate? These days with reprints and downloadable releases collecting sealed games is a poor investment. I only buy and own games to play them these days, I sold off most of my collectable stuff a while back.
