My brother got a 360 not too long ago and until now we've only had the 1 controller. I was going to pick up another one so we can play multiplayer but it's proving slightly more confusing than I would have expected.
Amazon has older models (2005), (2007) etc... as cheaper than the (2010) model - I was just wondering if there's even any major differences between them or if I can just go for the cheapest.
Is there any difference between newer and older 360 pads?

Judging from the controller I got with my Elite, they have better dpads. Not great, but better (feels the same as my 2 modded white controllers I got at launch). You might want to wait for the new controller to come out if you're in the market for one.

It'd be nice if they bundle the new controller with the "slim" and some platinum games this winter.Niode wrote:Judging from the controller I got with my Elite, they have better dpads.
