I'd like to get back into video editing and put up some high quality video reviews on youtube. The question is what should I go with to actually transfer console video inputs to my Mac?
I've heard a few things about the GameBridge, but apparently it has lag and also doesn't work with MacOS.
Money isn't much of a factor; quality is without lag. Just AV input recording is fine for me. Help if you can please.
best video game console video capture device for Mac?

You can get around the lag issue by using a splitter. Send one into a TV and the other into your PC. Then you can use any card OS X supports.

I did that before on my old PC's capture card, but I found it degraded the quality of the videos. I'd like a solution that doesn't have that problem.

I do it in a really round about kinda way.
I have a slingbox- plug in the console to it.
Then i use screen capture software to recored the slingbox image.

I ran a system through a DV camera and into iMovie and it worked pretty well. I only tried it with a Sega Saturn though. you can see the results in my review of Astal!
