FPS suggestions

Post by wclem »

Well me and my daughter enjoy blowing people up on Fallout 3. Now she wants to play one that is co-op. (or at least two people on the screen at once).

My question is: Are there any on the PS3 that will allow split screen play?

Borderlands does split screen, though it might be a bit too adult.

More adult than Fallout 3? Geez, must be pretty bad.

It's not FPS, but I know Resident Evil 5 allows split-screen.

If your PS3 is backwards compatible, you can play the PS2 TimeSplitters in splitscreen.

Oh god, spare yourself. The game is not horrible, but there are defiantly better games available.

Off the top of my head, these games have split screen vs/co-op
Call of Duty 4
Call of Duty MW2
Call of Duty WAW (Nazi Zombies FTW)
(Clearly I'm a COD fan)

Actually I'm a little concerned about Resident Evil 5 as well. I don't know your daughter's age, and I see you're willing to play Fallout 3 with her, so she's obviously ok with some level of violence, but Resident Evil 5 might be a bit too much. And then there's the level of difficulty...

I would recommend Borderlands but it's dependent on how old your daughter is. :)
