PSP2 officially real...

I hope is has backwards compatibility. I still haven't gotten around to buying the first PSP and I would like to not have to buy two systems.
I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

Kind of can't wait. I want to see if sony learned from it's mistakes.

I particularly have problems with handhelds because my hands cramp up. If sony actually makes one that feels good in my hands, i'm in for one.

Hopefully it has dual analog nubs... not because I needed them to enjoy my PSP, but rather to stop all the whining that the PSP doesn't have them  .
NES | SNES | Genesis | PSOne | Saturn | N64 | Dreamcast | Gamecube | XBox | PS2 Phat w/HDLoader | PS3 Slim| Wii
GBA SP | PSP-1000 | WiFi-iPad 16GB(Is this a game system?) | Modded PS1 | PS Vita 3G

The dual nubs issue should be addressed, honestly. The majority of 'big' games on PSP are games that people first played on PS1-PS2, and are games that utilized that second stick. The PSP's common pratice is to completely rework the controls to fit the lack of second stick, ala God of War, MGS, etc., but often I find it isn't ideal or very comfortable.

My only other concern is backwards compatibility. Please, please Sony, let me play my UMDs on PSP2.

I'm not saying I wouldn't embrace a 2nd nub, it's just that I'm tired of people using it as an excuse to not get a PSP instead of simply trying it for what it is: A really good portable game system which has, despite reports to the contrary, a sizable catalog of quality games.
