Should I get Zelda Twilight Princess on the Wii or Gamecube?
Plus, does the Gamecube version support widescreen and 480p?

Should I get Zelda Twilight Princess on the Wii or Gamecube?

The visual quality on both is identical. The levels are mirrored between versions because the Wii version of Link is right handed instead of the traditional left handed hero.
I have the Wii version. I wish I had the 'cube version. Shaking the remote for EVERY sword swing...so annoying.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I found the wii version quite enjoyable, despite the so called wii shaking with the sword, because your really not going to swing the remote much. Using the bow and arrow and other first person mode items are a lot faster to use then GCN version, which makes it a lot easier against some bosses where you switch a lot.

Wii. Because it's cheaper and aiming is easy~
(FC, AVFC, NES, SFC x2, SNES, N64, GC x2, Wii x2)*(G&W x7, GB, GBpocket, GBASP, DS-L x2)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)

I own both, and honestly it just depends on if you want to use the Wiimote or Gamecube controller. Differences besides that are marginal.

Pretty sure nintendo fixed the Twilight Hack, which was the main reason to get the Wii version. Both are great though.

But I am a lefty and want to support the version that has the left handed LinkDylan wrote:I own both, and honestly it just depends on if you want to use the Wiimote or Gamecube controller. Differences besides that are marginal.
no one has answered my questions about 480p and widescreen though.

It has the same fidelity as the Wii version. If the wii version can do 480p with component cables, the Gamecube game (on the same wii) will put out the same signal.

Oops, forgot about that. The GC version does support 480p, but not widescreen (unfortunately).ZeroAX wrote:But I am a lefty and want to support the version that has the left handed LinkDylan wrote:I own both, and honestly it just depends on if you want to use the Wiimote or Gamecube controller.
