Must have Wii downloads?

Post by Octopod »

What are they?

So far I am thinking Sin & Punishment.

Is there anything worthwhile though that I can not just buy a hardcopy of for another console?

Cave Story for Wii. It's an amazing port and update.

Mega Man 9 & 10. Also, Final Fantasy IV The After Years.

Homebrew Channel

Games I plan to keep on my Wii forever:
Contra ReBirth
Castlevania ReBirth
Castlevania Rondo of Blood
Mega Man 9 & 10
Sin & Punishment
Star Soldier R
(Internet Channel)

I also enjoyed:
Adventure Island: the Beginning
Max & the Magic Marker
Gyrostarr

I want to check out:
Lit (kinda reminds me of Adventures of Lolo)
the Bit.Trip games
Dr. Mario Online
Excitebike: World Rally
Zombie Panic in Wonderland (looks like it plays similar to S&P2)

The remake of Blaster Master is good.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Dark Lord.

It's pretty awesome. Don't bother with the overpriced DLC, though.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Contra and Castlevania Rebirth seem interesting.

I have Mega Man 9 on my 360 already so I might pick up 10.

I'll probably pass on FF4 since I do not really like jRPGs. You never know though, I might get a wild hair. I did play FF3 on DS when it came out and the ones that do interest me when I get in the mood are the older ones.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but could someone answer this quick question? Can you pirate downloadable games on the Wii? I'm not asking this because I'm going to, I'm asking this for when the next console comes out and I don't have every downloadable games and the servers are gone. I keep worrying about it, if someone answers it could put my mind at ease.

People will find a way to save DL games and DLC. I have no doubts about it. As far as if you can now, I have no idea.

Have a look at Jett Rocket, it is very Mario Galaxy looking but feels a bit more like Ratchet and Clank, very impressive work considering the size limitations.
