Aquired a GC, What Games to buy?

Post by Xionraserei1 »

Hello!

I bought a Gamecube again and I need suggestions on good games to buy.
I once had a GC like 5 yrs ago and I only had 5 games, and played only 1. (PSO)

Now, I have

Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II (shipped from florida to MA through gamestop - Complete for $4.99)
Tales of Symphonia

I have a Broadband Adapter on the way as well. (Had gamestop ship one up from Florida to Massachusetts - It's only .99 Cents!!!!)
I got a special Keyboard Controller for PSO coming in as well from ebay (42.99 Free Shipping). Like new Condition. It was a great find.

I like RPG's. I am o.k. with Mario but interest stopped after Mario 64, which I liked. Metriod I really don't know how I feel, same with Zelda. Odama looked interesting but im not sure lol, maybe that metal gear solid that's on GC.

Any kool accessories come to mind as well?

You don't like Mario since Mario 64? Care to explain why? You don't know how you feel about Metroid or Zelda?

Anyway, Super Mario Sunshine is great. If it's Mario 64 you don't like, Super Mario Sunshine is pretty different. If it helps, pretend it's a third person shooter.

Odama's okay, but meh. It's an interesting concept, at least.

Crash Bandicoot: Wrath or Cortex is a good platformer, but it's also on the other systems of that time.

Mario Kart: Double Dash is my second favorite Mario Kart game!

Crash Nitro Cart is great if you want more Mario Kart. Yea, it's just a Mario Kart copy, but it's a good one. There are things that keep it fresh, such as the boss races, the hub world, and the battle arena "editor".

Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door is an EXCELLENT RPG. If you like turn based RPG's, you'll probably really enjoy this one.

Also, it's not a game, but consider getting a gameboy player. It lets you play GB/GBC/GBA games on the TV. I love the thing!

Animal Crossing
LoZ: Wind Waker
Eternal Darkness
Pikmin 1 & 2
Rogue Leader
Rebel Strike
Luigi's Mansion

I'm also in a minority that really like Star Fox Adventure's
Geist is pretty neat but has its flaws

I also suggest Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast if you don't have it on other systems.

If you are going the cheap gamestop root. I recommend:
Viewtiful Joe $3
Metroid Prime $4
Megaman Anniversary Collection (if you don't own the ps2 version)$8
Timesplitters 2 $7

I am on the lookout for a bunch of cheap gcn games while the still have them at Gamestop.
