ridiculous but i am glad to have the game in my library!

They were selling it for $32.99 last month. I picked up a copy when they had that 20% off $29.99 & up sale. It's scratched to hell but works and that's all I really care about.

when gamestop raised the price for Wild Arms Alter Code from 12.99 to 16.99, I've made up my mind not to purchase the game anymore (yea I had it before). I know the game is rare but I do not believe it's worth that much to get a price increase. Trust me guys, the first wild arms game may not be the prettiest looking game, but it's worth the 10 dollars you pay for. Alter code is passable so I don't see why people would pay 30 dollars for that game. I just don't like it when gamestop goes around raising the price for these games based on rarity. The retail price for Abyss was only 39.99 and gamestop thinks we're stupid enough to pay more. whatever happen to hitting the jackpot for finding the game with a reasonable and affordable price?? I thought gamestop wanted us to save on games.

I paid $30 for Abyss, and I'm glad I did. Now, if I could only find the guide for a reasonable price...

Gamestop has already raised the price for The Orange Box for ps3. Its $29 before it was 24.99 and before that $17 or 19.99. I just bought The Orange Box on ebay for $16 plus $4 for shipping. I can't believe they make the xbox game cheaper. Sure bluray is expensive.

Actually Gamestop is pretty late to change prices on demanded games for older systems like PS2. Abyss and Ico are examples on how the online price has been well above the gamestop for months before they increased price.
There is still alot of good deals though. I just picked up the 2 predator games on xbox in their buy 1 get 2 free sale. Then again you have things like the Xenosaga 3 fiasco, where they started selling new reprinted games as used and tried to hide that fact and basically cutting the price and rarity in half.

The web's first video game public library! http://videogameexperiment.com rents all games for free and sells them for less than Ebay and Amazon! Plus we take anything in on trade-in.
