Awesome review. I really want one of these now... Mr. Gimmick must be played on real hardware!

Also, I really enjoy your blog in general. Really good reads every time! :)

Thanks for the kind words. I'm actually kind of not sure what to write next. Any review suggestions?

Here's what I own, or at least what RF Gen will let me list.

I'm on a Mega Man kick lately, and Mega Man and Bass has been on my radar. I see you have that one..

I plan on reviewing every Megaman classic game, but in order. Just about done my MM3 review. After that will come Wily Wars, then probably the GB Megaman 1 and 2. Then 4, then 3 GB, then 5, then 4 GB, then 5 GB, then 6, then 7, 8, and THEN you get Megaman & Bass

Ah, I see.

I'm actually playing through Mega Man 10 right now, and I'm at Wily's Castle. Made it to the third stage before giving up today, but I'll try again maybe later tonight or tomorrow. After this game I plan on playing through all of the classics in order as well.

Great review Satoshi. I'm not too big into the NES scene, but I've always been impressed with the engineering and quality behind the Powerpack. For any hardcore NES/Famicom fan I agree that this is a must have.

Great review! I love the Powerpak and I really agree with you about the ability to play homebrew and reproductions on a real NES.

Btw what are the names of the games in the review, looks like various mega man and mario hacks. Any good hacks?

Oh btw I designed a cover box for the PowerPak if anyone wants one. Highres PDF document, ready to print. Download here: http://hem.bredband.net/b282712/clean/p ... werpak.htm
