I just saw this today after looking at a wireless game controller that Lenovo put out. Does anyone know anything about this? I doubt it is going to be a full scale competitor in the console market but with a company like Lenovo backing it, it could be a cool little toy.

Apparently there are actually developers on board as well.
Any thoughts?
BTW: This is the wireless gamepad I was looking at

If anyone else was making this I would have dismissed it already but I am a fan of Lenovo.
Anyone know about Lenovo 'ebox'?
Re: Anyone know about Lenovo 'ebox'?
Yep. I've heard of it as soon as you posted. It looks almost as good as a Vii. Also ebox is the name of a something else. It does intrigue me however. It is another knockoff.

Interesting, these little devices are creeping up in the power stacks... won't be long before we see a decent under TV emulator box
Re: Anyone know about Lenovo 'ebox'?
Haha, now come on it looks better than a Vii. It is at least made by a big name pc manufacturer. It may be a huge flop but it won't be as shitty as a Vii.
Check out the video of the tennis game on the wireless remote they are selling. It already looks more promising than any of those "clones" that are out.
Strangely that remote seems to include Raving Rabbids, Virtua Tennis, and TMNT.

Still looks better to me. Optical drive, ethernet, vga output, hardware looks well built.
Vii has none of that.
I'm willing to bet it has a much better processor than the Vii as well. Lenovo isn't going to sink into something as crappy as the Chinese throw away consoles.
I'm not saying it will be good mind you but it is obviously a cut above the other imitation crap that has come out.

But it is still a chinese knockoff.

No, the only real bit of info on it is that it should have a controller options similar to Kinect and that it should launch in November. I'm only going on the video for the hardware items I listed. It doesn't list specs but it certainly doesn't look like a cheap piece of hardware.
It seems to be listed under the name eedoo as well.
It looks like Lenovo might have some kind of deal with ubisoft based on the games they included with the wireless controller I linked.

Yeah, I knew about it when it was announced. Would be kind of neat to have, but I'm not much for Chinese MMORPG's...
