Help: NES Recca. Hack / GameGenie invincibility.

I really like this game especially the music but not being a shooter player, I’m not very good at it lol – I’d love to be able to go all the way thru it and record all the music channels. I’m using JNES and I can record all the separate music channels just fine but the game is so hard I can’t get all the way thru without dieing.

What I need is an invincibility or no clip cheat. I was thinking that someone might be able to work out a Gamegenie code for this? Or know of another NES emu that will help me record the music channels without dieing.

Any ideas?

Actually, I've managed to get to a sound test menu by holding select and pressing B on the title screen. This will do for my music needs but I'd still like to be able to see the whole game too.
