Who Can Draw A Racketboy Mascot?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Who Can Draw A Racketboy Mascot?

Post by racketboy »

Attention all artists!:

I'm hoping to have some original artwork for a mascot of sorts for the site.
I've always had Beat from Jet Grind Radio as my avatar and such, so I'd like to keep in that theme, but on a "smaller" scale.

So I'm kinda thinking Beat but in the pint-sized form like in Pocket Fighter or Virtua Fighter Kids.

Examples...

Pocket Fighter

Anyway, if I choose your rendition I will be eternally grateful and will buy you a t-shirt (in your choice of color and size) with the character on it.

Anybody up for this challenge?

On a side note, while you're free to do a color version if you want, I would like to have a high-contrast black and white version so I can easily convert it to a vector graphic and resize-color it for different purposes.

At the risk of showing my age I was wondering the very same thing myself. Maybe he meant:

Sweet, Dude
Sounds Do-able

i haven't drawn anything in years. i did a quick sketch on the back on a receipt with a 4 color pen. i tried to create a skin tone effect with red dots (half-tone is what that method is called if i recall) but it look like racket's come down chicken pox. send in dr. mario!

Not really.
Basically the deadline is the day I find one I'm in love with.
I'd rather you take time to make a professional/slick-looking design
