have you actually played it? I mean I haven't, but HG101 had a really good article about how the CD-i Zeldas are not as bad as everyone assumes. I think the quote was "people would rather be wrong than different."

The games are actually not that bad. I guess people do not like them because they expected something like the other Zeldas. I actually want to play through them. I only played the Link game briefly. And I think it helps to read some tips on the web before playing them.

the game does look pretty decent. unfortunately, because of the price of a cd-i, i don't think i will ever play it.

i bet if the AVGN didn't do a video on all zelda cd-i games they wouldn't be nearly as hated as they are. but since he trashed on them, everybody else has to trash on them.

BTW, I'm pretty sure there's a CD-i emulator so you could get the games and try them on your computer.

He recently trashed Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Which was the first Zelda game I actually finished. Without the corner trick with Dark Link. I just saved all the extra lives for the end. It's not a bad a game it's just difficult

I've always loved Adventures Of Link. I got it at launch and THEN played the first Zelda after the 2nd. I still love Zelda II. I think it's great. Very hard, but great. AVGN has trashed a million games I love. I do'nt really take his reviews as anything more than shtick.
