Question about Metroid Prime/Metroid Fusion connectivity
I'm playing through Fusion now. And I know that once you beat it you can unlock Metroid (NES) on Prime. My question is, will it keep it unlocked on my GCN memory card so that I can just fire up Prime to play Classic Metroid, or will I need to connect the GBA every time?

Re: Question about Metroid Prime/Metroid Fusion connectivity
I am pretty sure that once you unlock metroid you can play it on the GCN without the GBA connected, because I remember saving my Metroid data directly to my GameCube.

Sorry to deviate from the subject a tad, but I always thought it would've made more sense if beating Prime unlocked the original Metroid and beating Fusion would unlock the Fusion Suit.

You'll only need to hook the GBA and GCN together once. It'll stay on your memory card.
I love when two such awesome games hook up to make a retro baby.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Not to be a little black rain cloud, but why would you wanna play classic metroid with a Gamecube controller? That's not how the original cyborg space hunter was suppose to be played
Remember that good old excerpt from the original manual?
Remember that good old excerpt from the original manual?
The space hunter chosen for this mission is Samus Aran. He
is the greatest of all the space bounty hunters and has successfully
completed numerous missions that everybody thought were absolutely
impossible. He is a cyborg: his entire body has been surgically
strengthened with robotics, giving him superpowers. Even the space pirates
fear his space suit, which can absorb any enemies power. But his true form
is shrouded in mystery.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

That has got to be the best overglorified picture I've seen of a single controller

I've never seen a cheesy glamor shot of a game controller before. I bet the guy who took that picture makes his money by taking yearbook photos.
