Swap trick possible with region patched Saturn games?

Post by AnbuZabuza »

I'm having trouble getting Dracula X to play on my US Saturn, I've patched it to the US region code with no results. Is it even possible or am I just making coasters?

It should work fine...but I stopped using the swap trick after installing the chip.

The image itself might be bad, mabey you could try find another source. Did you rip it yourself or download?

Also make sure your burning at 8x or less. Have you burned and played other games sucessfully with whatever brand of CD-R you are using?

I downloaded it from a site, Yabause recognizes the CD and boots the game so I think the image is ok. I patched it with SatHeader, maybe I should try something else? I'd mod my saturn but I have a 64-pin model and don;t know anything about soldering.

Yes, I have about 30 burned NTSC-U games and I've never had a problem.

I'm not familar with this particular game, does it require RAM cart?

You could always try the Saturn Region Patcher at http://madroms.free.fr/#SCGDD
