Don't mind me, just enjoying my Metroid, Tomb Raider, Bayonetta, Mirror's Edge, Portal, Final Fantasy VI and XIII, Perfect Dark, Beyond Good and Evil, and Xenosaga.

I agree with Activision.

I mean, who wants to buy a game about doing laundry and cooking?

you do know that out of all of those only Tomb Raider was a true success.

That being said, Activision are idiots. Their genius business plan is to see what is popular right now and copy it.

That's why they bought Blizzard instead of making their own MMO.

That's why someone will make a game with a female lead that sells millions, and suddenly every single game activision makes will have a female lead.

Wait, so Metroid and Perfect Dark weren't true successes?

Wait, you're saying Metroid, Portal, and FFVI weren't successful?

According to VGChartz, Bayonetta sold 1,400,000 copies, Mirror's Edge sold 1,800,000 on consoles alone, Final Fantasy XIII sold 5,5 million copies, Perfect Dark sold 2,5 million.

It's difficult to know what some people mean by "success".

Well I'm talking about huge success I guess. And FF is a brand name.

From what I heard SEGA and EA didn't consider Bayonetta and Mirror's Edge a big success, but a good start for new franchises.
