Error saving sytem file - VF4 Evolution PS2

Post by baphomet_irl »

I bought VF4 Evo on friday (there was a lot of secondhand PS2 stuff around as people were obviously trading to buy their PS3's), and I intend to fully play it for a good while and try to at least learn the basics of it, as tbh I've never really given VF a proper go. The closest I ever got to playing it for a prolonged period was playing Fighting Vipers on the ferry to Wales :p

Unfortunately, the game keeps giving me an error whenever it tries to save its system file - I have 2 MB free on each of them and Ive tried both. Is this unusual? - the disc seems fine, and my mem cards are loading saves in other games perfectly.

any help is much appreciated

You try both memory ports? Otherwise I would say mabey the disc is messed up (mabey a bad press?). Never had the problem with my copy of VF4 Evo.
