I don't blame you. It's pretty fucking creepy.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.

Ha ha, oh man - I remember this ad. Good stuff.

Ads from back then pushed a lot more buttons then than they do now. Remember the ad for the Neo Geo shmup (can't remember the name) that had the hottie in lingerie, peeved that her man is choosing the Neo Geo over her, saying something like "Used to be he couldn't keep his hands off of Me!"

Then that Jaguar advert with the nekkid lady obscured by screenshots...

And the legendary "John Romero is about to make you his bitch" ads that practically ruined him. Hey, maybe that's why these guys decided to scale things back a bit...

I remember an ad for some third party controller. I think the selling feature was about it being wireless. It had a picture of a guy in labour, and a doctor cutting the embilical cord off a controller. Creeped the hell out of me. I think I still have the magazine even.

Triple 32-bit?! Holy sheep; that's 96-bit...!!

Also, the grand-daddy of all offensive game promotions...

Gave kids nightmares and caused a mild bit of controversy for Nintendo's new magazine at the time..
