My Game Collection

Post by LXL_Guy »

Here is what I've acquired so far over the years. Occasionally it'll be updated when I get around to taking pictures of it all. I hope you all like my collection of games.

Sega Dreamcast

Starting off is my Sega Dreamcast games. I got this pretty late after the console had long met its fateful demise here in the states. Fortunately I was able to pick it up for a fair price with some pretty decent games. A good amount are used bought from various game stores and such. Usually I like my games complete but if I can find them cheap for disc only I'll still buy them up.

Image
Dead or Alive 2, ecco The Dolphin Defender of the Future, EGG: Elemental Gimmick Gear, Evolution The World of Sacred Device, The House of The Dead 2, Jet Grind Radio, JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Mortal Kombat Gold, Phantasy Star Online, Psychic Force 2012, Project Justice

Image
Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Shuffle, SoulCalibur, Virtua Tennis, Zombie Revenge

Nintendo Gameboy Advance

Never had an actual GBA but, I bought these games after I got the Game Cube GBA player. These are the few titles I managed to get.

Image
Castlevania Double Pack, F-Zero GP Legend, Final Fantasy IV Advance, Final Fantasy V Advance, Final Fantasy VI Advance, Gunstar Super Heroes, Kingdom Hears Chain of Memories, Klono 2 Dream Champ Tournament, Pokemon Leaf Green Version, Sigma Star Saga, Summon Night Swordcraft Story 2, WarioWare Twisted!

Image
Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler, Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters World Championship Tournament 2006 , Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Duel Academy, Final Fantasy Tactics, Sword of Mana, Lunar Legend (not pictured, just noticed the game was mixed in with some memory cards. will update picture at a later point to reflect this)

Nintendo Gameboy/Color

Only have a few games. Mainly Pokemon since I got this during the craze all those years ago when it first hit these shores. I still remember trading some Pokemon cards to get my Gameboy pocket with a copy of Pokemon Red.

Image
Batman, Game & Watch Gallery, Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Red, Pokemon Silver

Nintendo Entertainment Systerm

Never actually had a NES while growing up. Got a majority of these games from a friend since he didn't want any of it. Boy was I fortunate enough to get this. I did buy a few games but I forget which ones exactly.

Image
Castlevania, Castlevania II Simon's Quest, Dragon Warrior, Duck Tales, Kirby's Adventure, The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II The Adventure of Link, Mega Man 4, Metroid, Monster Party, Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II The Arcade Game

Super Nintendo Entertainment System

First console I ever owned during the so-called golden age of gaming. Boy did I love the SNES. So many great memories I had here. Eventually I wish to hunt down even more games that I loved as a kid.

Image
Nickelodeon Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Art of Fighting, Biker Mice from Mars, College Slam, Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2 Diddy's Kong Quest, Illusion of Gaia, Killer Instinct, The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past

Nintendo 64

This is the second console I ever had right after the SNES. I remember my parents bought us kids this particular one due to the fact that we had fun playing the N64 at my cousins house. Honestly we only had Mario Kart 64 for years on end since I was still a poor kid then. A majority of the games I got a lot later when Game Crazy was getting rid of all their old stuff. Also got a few doubles too since my buddy gave me his N64 along with games that I now have doubles of such as Super Smash Bros.

Image
Castlevania Legacy of Darkness, Extreme G 2, Goldeneye 007, Harvest Moon 64, Hey You Pikachu, Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3, Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero, Perfect Dark, Pokemon Puzzle League, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Stadium 2

Sony PlayStation Portable

The selection is still not quite there for the library of games when it comes down to the PSP but that doesn't mean I didn't find a few gems. Honestly I'm sure there's better games that I haven't thought of getting but this is what I've acquired thus far.

Image
Metal Gear Acid, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker Limited Edition

Microsoft XBox

Originally didn't have one till a few years back. Bought it off a guy on Craigs list for $150 since he included a dozen or so games which included Steel Battalion w/controller. So not bad I don't think.

Sony Playstation

What sparked my interest in this console was Resident Evil 2. After seeing my cousin play it I was hooked. Some time later my Uncle bought my brother and I a Playstation with a copy of RE2. I think this was about the time I really started to get into gaming.

Nintendo Gamecube

I got this pretty late...pretty much right as the Generation of the cube was dying off. Don't have many of the must have titles, which just consists of first party titles mostly. I hope to one day hunt them down for decent prices I'm willing to pay.

Microsoft XBox 360

Still don't own one yet but with the latest model being the slim with built in Wi-Fi I might bite on it later near the holiday season since that's when they usually have good bundle deals.

Image
Beautiful Katamari, Blue Dragon, Infinite Undiscovery, Lost Planet Extreme Condition Colonies Edition, Lost Odyssey, Project Gotham Racing 4, Operation Darkness, You're in the Movies

Nintendo Wii

There's not a whole lot that is eye catching on the Wii (for me personally). Way too much shovelware. Otherwise I'll slowly get games for the system too.

Reserved, will add pics later.

Sony Playstation 3

Reserved, Got to get my copy of MGS4 back from a friend and then I'll take pics.

Yeah, I try to get a plethora of variety into my collection. One would get bored if one was only into one genre.

Yeah...the first time I got WarioWare: Twisted I didn't even know the cartridge looked like that. I mean I only tried a few simple games that didn't require much moving of the gamecube and then just set that aside. It probably sat for a long while till I got my DS Lite.
Gamerforlife wrote:Nice limited edition of Peace Walker you got there
Thanks. Honestly I just wanted it for the Artbook but Peace Walker was more fun than I thought it would be. I probably spend more time recruiting then actually playing the main story.

How it came but just did a quick ebay search and saw the more common looking cart art. No idea...possibly a second print run?!

Thank you. I try to get my hands on FF games but have definitely missed quite a few though.

Nice collection, you have so many disc only games, you should print out some inserts and make your own covers.

The Yellow label Metroid is from the NES Classics re-release. It's less common than the pixel label, but particularly more valuable.

Nice collection, but I can tell that you were a Nintendo kid and therefore cannot be friends with you. Goodbye!

It's on my to do list. I'll eventually get to it along with getting cases for my cart only games. Maybe manuals as well. I usually don't buy disc only but if the price is right I'll bite on it.

Yep, definitely was a Nintendo kid growing up. Then again everyone I knew were Nintendo fans. Maybe I should put up my Genesis games too now.
