How much are you guys paying for it in the US?

I considered buying it, since everyone will be playing, even though I don't really like RTS games. Blizzard is only giving two options to Brazilians: a $28 version that will only play online for six months and the collector's edition, that will play forever, for... 282 dollars.

That's 282 USD? Holy fucknuggets.

It's $60 per ordinary game, $100 per collectors edition here I believe. Just checked best buy mid-post, yeah.

I don't know about this game. I never liked the first Starcraft... liked WC3 more. Would I like this game? Lemme know your first impressions.

I first started playing Starcraft when I was like 8, and it's taken up a lot of my time, so needless to say I'm ecstatic about the sequel. I've been playing the beta on and off since it was out (unfortunately I'm not very good online! ) and I'm heading out to the midnight launch in about an hour or so. You could say I'm a fan. If you like RTS games at all, I strongly recommend Starcraft, and I'm sure I'll say the same about SC 2. Plus the original Starcraft is only like $10 and it comes with the Brood War Expansion and everything, excellent deal. Go get it!

If I had a computer capable of running it, I'd almost certainly have pre-ordered it a while ago. Once I decide to buy a new computer (i.e. once Diablo III comes out), I'll probably pick up SCII. I love RTSs and loved the first one, so there's no reason I wouldn't love SCII.

If you didn't like Starcraft you won't like Starcraft 2.

I don't generally care much about PC games, but I have played the original Starcraft and am interested in seeing what kind of reception this one gets

I actually really enjoyed the original game's story. I wonder how the second installment's story will hold up in comparison

As much as I enjoyed and played the first installment, this might be too much of a time commitment for me.

I'm still holding out for Civ, which will take ALL my free time.

I am waiting on it. If they can make some awesome modded maps in other game genres Ill pick it up. Ive seen the work from the beta, I want to see what they can do with six months of tooling. I was never a fan of the original, but I am curious of this sequel. That and I know several of the voice actors.
