Somebody please help me remember this game.

It's an old genesis game, it has some kind of jungle theme that I mistook for jurrasic park as a kid. The sprites are all extremely zoomed out, so the main character is much smaller than your normal protaganist. I believe the first level you start at the top and have a zipline almost immediately. Weapons are guns and ammo, I can't really remember much else. this may be a tad vague but I've been searching for this for years, I would love to finally have an answer.

At first, I thought Cannon Fodder, then Kid Chameleon, then Vectorman 2. Now I'm not sure what it is. Do any of those names ring any bells?

I think it is Flashback: The Quest for Identity.

Sorry, no dice there, it is a platformer, so the perspective is akin to kid chameleon. The sprite sizes are around the same size as cannon fodder though.

flashback seems the closest but it still just seems wrong. I think if everything in flashback was scaled down while having huge environment show, that would be the general look. Also, I'm pretty sure there are dinos.

Are you sure it wasn't just Sonic 3? That started out in a jungle stage and had ziplines.
