Here is the whole story behind this.
"talented at 13 than I am at 29, sad but true. I built my Nintendo Entertainment System Cabinet between 7th and 8th grade after having spent months designing it. I still have all of my original plans and sketches"

This is not about me, but someone who is true to his gaming roots.

I remember reading about this in Nintendo Power in about 1990 or 1991.

edit: I guess it was '89, the year the Mega Powers explode!

That is awesome an retro machine! :D
I put rocket fuel in my vaccuum and it started a fire in my house. I am so mad at Black & Decker for making a vaccuum that I can't do what I want with.

I really enjoyed reading the story behind this. I had seen the pic, but didn't know the history surrounding it. Thanks for posting it here!

Phenomenal Cabinet and on top of that built by a 13 year old! Wonder what Will Turnbow is building today?

A shame as a kid, the magazine only gave a small print area. Racketboy now does justice with that link provided by benderx.
Will Turbow wrote:http://www.willyliliana.com/NES%20Cabinet/NES%20Cabinet.htm

I wrote a letter to Nintendo about my new arcade and was published in the July/August 1989 Nintendo Power Magazine. I believe I had a 3 page letter that was rudely squished down to a couple lines. Oh well, it was a major accomplishment for a kid in Wyoming.
