Does the mouse still feel slippery? That should probably be fixed before the graphics. It, like Deus Ex, has been unplayable for me due to terrible mouse control all these years. Or maybe I'm just spoiled on responsive Half-Life/Quake/UT style aiming.

Modern enough video card for SS2? Jeez, what did you have before? A Voodoo--Er... Wait, even those could run SS2. :P

Doesn't matter; you're in for a major treat--especially with all the advancements in the models, textures, gameplay balance, etc available these days. I was harping on about it earlier in another post (or two, or three...) which has some more links and information (make sure to bookmark the FAQ to minimize grief).

Gotta say I envy you. I wish I could relive the first time playing through that all over again although it was even better than I remembered it when I replayed it last year with Rebirth, SHTUP, StrayLight, higher resolution cutscenes, a better computer (rock solid framerate), and some expensive headphones.

Good luck, insect.
