5. Tempest 2000 - Jaguar/Others - It's hard to have a screen grab of the actual game, and still have a cover be misleading, but holy crap. Even an awesome game like Tempest 2000 pales in comparison to this truly awesome cover. This cover left me with unanswered questions. Is it a devil, alien, sea creature, beast? Was this thing going to attack everything in 2000? I'm confused

4. Wolfenstein 3D - SNES - Well let's see. He's wearing Camo, he's holding a gun that you won't get to play with in the game He's rocking a headband, and oh yeah. He's blonde!!! BJ being a brunette is what we'd call "Important to the plot". This should've been a big enough clue as to how much the SNES version of wolfenstein sucked.

3. Bust a Move 2 - PS1/Others - What the HELL is going on. Wait, this is a puzzle game? Looking back on it now, it looks like a precursor to the Saw Series. Then again, I bought this game when I was 9 solely based on the cover, so they must've done something right. c'mon Taito, you guys really sell yourselves short. You makes great, addictive games. Why trick consumers into thinking they're buying torture porn? The tag of "So addictive, it should be illegal" is also bad, as that can be confused with torture and forced sodomy. PS - Super Bust a Move is pretty misleading too, but at least there's actual footage on that cover.

2. Pool Party - Wii - So many inaccuracies and/or logical fallacies:
a. The people pictured are having fun.
b. The guys with awful haircuts who play wii casual party games are accompanied by women.
c. The fellow players are fucking rude for not giving the guy any personal space to line up his shot
d. Why are 3 people holding pool cues?
e. The guy about to shoot has awful form
f. WTF IS THE WOMAN IN THE BLACK SHIRT STARING AT?
g. If you're going to make a background picture for a game, try to not use the same exact picture with a photoshop effect slapped on it.
h. Are there that many crosseyed people in the video game cover modeling world?
(Super Mega Ultra Hyper Hi res version of the cover in case you didn't recognize all the nuances I did: http://www.covergalaxy.com/forum/attach ... -party.jpg)

1. Phalanx - SNES - I think this goes without saying. Hmm, let's see, we've got an okay space shooter for the snes. What should we put on the cover? I GOT IT, the unofficial 4th dude from ZZ Top in overalls with a banjo. AWESOME! I'm still waiting on Kemco to make a JRPG with a one eyed man with wrapped in an Estonian flag peeing into a bottle of surge next too a vase filtered with a conte crayon effect. Sure it says right on the box "THE HYPER SPEED SHOOT-OUT IN SPACE", but screw that, you can't just dangle banjohick in my face like that and expect me to play a shump instead. I thought I was gonna be breaking down game barriers with Cotton Eye Joe, now i'm disappointed.
Anything I missed?
