question of prices

Post by Lord_Santa »

this may, or may not belong in B/S/T forum, but I'll ask it here

how much are the following games worth (estimate)?

Bahamut Lagoon - Super Famicom (JP) CiB
Breath of Fire I - Super Famicom (JP) CiB
Breath of Fire II - Super Famicom (JP) CiB

preferably by themselves (i.e. how much for BoF 1, etc.)

serious answers please, as I just found these three games at (what I think) very reasonable price(s), but have yet to buy them since I want to know if their worth it, or not

thanks for the replies, guys

I bought all 3 at a reasonable price, but I'm not sure if I'll hold on to them or not

I'll post some pictures and stuff later on

they include:

Cartridge
Box
Manual
Plastic-box (which they reside in)

other than that, I don't own a Super Famicom, nor do I know Japanese
but I figured at the price they were selling, I couldn't afford not to buy them

seems I was a bit off on that =(

guess I'll check e-bay next time before I purchase

but if nothing else, I can emulate the games with a clean conscience =)

My rule of thumb on most SFC RPGs is $20-30 is a fair price if the box is in decent shape. Some, Secret of Mana 2 for example, command higher but it occasionally goes that low. That said, I havent bought a SFC rpg for over $15 shipped in some time.

in all honesty, I payed about $12 for each game in a store

I thought it was a great find, but I'll let you guys decide...

:edit

could a moderator please move this to

Video Game "Finds of the Day"

instead?

probably more suitable there...

I'd hate to tell you what I've seen them for in Japan105yen each, cart only, maybe 1000yen each CIB if you search around enough. More in dedicated game shops like you'd find in Akihabara...
Of course, that is before shipping, the seller takes a cut based on market value, etc.
